DocTea
I will be so less stressed when everyone is out of the house and i will be able to get through this once and for all. I can't count how many times i have reset this, but I am really hoping this is the lady. I believe that when I make it through this time I will be strong enough to handle anything. I was doing really great with everything until my grandmother Passed away last year and life came crashing down. So back to the healthy me so I can enjoy my wonderful life. I NEED A TON OF SUPPORT. amberino21
you can restart as many times as you like!! are your husband and kids doing it with you? if not, I hope they're supporting you - a healthy you will benefit them just as much as it will you good luck! take one day at a time, plan and prep ahead of time so you have a fridge and freezer full of compliant food - no chance of making non-compliant choices then
lexes42
My kid is so annoyed that there is no 'dessert' or 'snacks' in the house. But she has an allowance and Safeway is a safe walk away. Dad can take the kids out for off roading if he wants - you keep the house compliant! My daughter has also asked about a little locker she can keep snacks in... a good idea, but lazy wins out everytime and she hasn't bought it yet Making it a real effort to go off plan is what keeps me on, I think. I'm still not perfect with my meals etc, but I can't stuff something non-compliant in my mouth before I think it through this way... Make a list of things you can do when grief or stress strike. I hate the recommendation to 'take a bubble bath' because I hate baths. But I do find a quick walk around the block with inspiring music helps. I'm not a good meditator (yet) but this is kind of moving meditaiton. When life comes crashing down, you are allowed to step out of it for 30 minutes. The truth is, that thirty minutes you don't take is unproductive anyway - it's probably filled with worry and procrastination and being frozen / stuck in a negative thinking loop. So 'walking it off' - the way we do when we get a short acute pain - hitting our funny bone, stubbing our toe, mildly twisting an ankle - can bring you back to calm and better food decisions.
