Sundance
It only takes me a few minutes to make a very nice mild sausage in patty form. I think it would be considered a type of breakfast sausage. 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp thyme, ground (I use my mortar & pestle) 1 tsp fresh ground black pepper 1 tsp rubbed sage Mix these seasonings into 3 T of cold water. Then thoroughly mix this by hand into 1 pound of ground meat. Form into patties and cook. My neighbor's 11 year old boy loves making and eating this! Enjoy! LindaLee
Yummy! Thank you for sharing this...we can use lean ground beef, which will allay my husband's concerns about the fat.
LindaLee
I'm going to try this today with ground turkey...
LindaLee
Okay, I made this today and I thought it was excellent! It's a nice alternative to the pork sausage I normally make...and making patties on the George Foreman grill really eliminates a lot of the fat. Is there a way to spice it up just a little? I think sage is my new favorite herb...
