Bpolack 0
Post whole 30/ rest of my life, what is the ideal way to eat, 3 meals or smaller, faster digestible meals and why?
amberino21 1760
if the whole 30 people thought that eating 6 small meals was more beneficial than 3 bigger meals, do you not think that would be how the program was written? (just something to think about...) personally, I feel more satisfied on 3 meals a day than I did on 6 meals a day. then, I was constantly hungry and thinking about my next meal. now I can quite happily go hours without counting down the minutes til another meal
Bpolack 0
What about the whole thing about keeping your metabolism high by eating more smaller meals throughout the day?
amberino21 1760
Tosh! Got any research to say that's true? Supplement/diet companies also benefit by telling everyone they need to eat more frequently - most people don't have time to prepare that much real food so resort to said company's shakes, bars, etc.... juliejem 39
All that blabber about eating six small meals is meant to keep your blood sugars even throughout the day when your body is reliant on carbs, "so you never feel hungry". If you're properly fat-adapted, that isn't a factor.
