rjaeger
I just started my 3rd Whole30 today. I followed the plan to the letter the first two times but am considering a modified version this time. I'd like to incorporate beans and white potatoes (prepared in healthy fashion and in careful moderation). Based on the last 2 Whole30s and the subsequent reintroducing of these items back into my diet, I know they do not effect my digestive system negatively. To get to my point, is there any other reason NOT to do this modified version? Thanks!
Guest
The only reason not to would be if you want to call your program a Whole30. You can eat any way that you want for the rest of your life; you make up your own rules when you are riding your bike. To do an actual Whole30, you do need to follow the rules. Susan W
I agree with Nico. If you don't want to do a full W30, then call it something else.
Ruby
Some legumes are incorporated in vegetarian Whole 30s. White potatoes never are though.
Robin Strathdee
rjaeger - It really sounds to me like you're ready to take charge of your WholeForever, rather than jumping back on the Whole30 wagon. That's a GREAT thing! We want Whole30 to be a tool, used for a specific purpose, not a forever on and off program. I say, make your new lifestyle Whole30+legumes+white potatoes and own it!
