Pre and post meals for a competitive soccer game

So I play competitive soccer 2wice a week and was wonder what I can eat to stay energized throughout the game and nurish my muscles after 90 mins of running! I ate a protein and carb meal between 1-4 before my games and similar meal post game with lots of water ofcourse but that was before w30! What can I eat pre and post? Can I do protein and starchy veggies like sweet potato before and protein, sweet potato and fats after?? Thanks everyone!

I'd check out other threads with info related to endurance type exercise - longer runs/swims etc.

Pre should be fat/protein, and post should be lean protein and starchy vegie carbs, but I have no idea if you should have something during the game! Other people doing a similar type of activity would have a better idea :)
