lbosmer
My husband and I are going to a college football game this weekend (Auburn vs MS State) and I really want to try and stay compliant. I am not technically doing a whole30 currently but want to try as hard as possible to stick to my way of eating. What would y'all take? We will have a cooler...but it needs to be stuff to pick up with hands...you know...like tailgate food. Would love to hear some suggestions. I thought about wings maybe...but got stuck after that. amberino21
Can you eat before or after, or will it be meal time while you're at the game? Drumsticks or coconut crumbed "nuggets", egg/vegie muffins, vegie sticks and dip would all be "finger food" friendly
lbosmer
Probably won't eat in the stadium...no compliant food there at all. So we will be eating beforehand mainly. The game is at 6pm.
tara.liveeatlove
Will there be a grill at the tailgate? If so, I would make sausage and veggie packets! I'm in love with Spicy Italian Sausage right now (make sure to buy a compliant brand)!! Slice up the sausage, throw it in a bowl with your pick of chopped up veggies (I usually use yellow squash, zucchini, onion, tomato, and asparagus), a little oil, and your favorite spices (something simple, as the sausage already adds a lot of flavor. I just use lemon pepper!). Wrap up a portion size in aluminum foil, then put on the grill until the veggies are cooked and the sausage is hot! Have fun! Mom2A&M
(If you have a grill). Steak on a stick or meat and veggies kabobs, burgers, Applegate hotdogs or compliant sausage (No grill) deviled eggs, cold cut up chicken strips with ranch dip or guacamole. On a side note..... ROLL TIDE!!! Lol!

Delaine Ross
I literally posted a blog about tailgating yesterday and posted an answer in a different thread a few minutes ago: http://forum.whole9life.com/topic/13662-whats-your-fav-dish-to-bring-to-parties/ LOVE football! (and a Whole30 during football season isn't as frustrating as I had thought )
