Nikknak Posted September 17, 2013 Share Posted September 17, 2013 Today was the first day since I started 12 days ago. I wanted to eat everything insight. And I really couldn't tell if I was hungry or not and all I could think about was food and wanting to eat so bad. HELP. I didn't veer off the plan however I did probably eat a little more fruit than I should have and I did have a tiny snack of a handful of pistachios and a banana. Hang in there, stick to the compliant foods, and it should pass in the coming days. If you'd like folks to give you specific feedback on what you've been eating, post 2-3 days of your food log. bookworm05 Posted September 17, 2013 Share Posted September 17, 2013 This happened to me at Day 11/12. I almost put a hole in the wall I wanted chocolate so badly. I ate a little extra fruit to keep my sanity (it was day 1/2 of my monthly friend then ) and it passed. I eased up on the fruit now and am eating more starchy vegetables instead. Seems to be working. This is when I feel l like a carb-crazed, insatiable maniac In general though, this is a tough phase in your Whole30 - it will pass. And it may happen again - but if you can do your best to stick to 3 meals a day (up your starchy veg on these days and add a piece of fruit and some nuts to each meal if you'd like) then it's definitely manageable - - that is to say, I haven't punched a hole through any walls ... yet.
