hobbitgirl
I'm hearing many reports that 60% of the country is in a state of drought. Because of this, crops are failing, and prices on many items will go up. Eventually, the price of many meats will go up and I'm thinking this will effect grass fed meats (since I know the grass on my lawn is in a state of brown crunchiness). I'm thinking I had better order me up 1/4 of a pig or cow pretty quickly, but I've no room in my freezer at the moment (even my box freezer in the basement is full). GRRR.... Carolina Blue
Check with the slaughterhouse. Sometimes they will either freeze & store the meat for you, or they might know someone with extra freezer space you can rent. Or, if you've got room, buy a used freezer off craigslist & fill it to the brim!
