awg828
Sorry if this topic has already been covered - I couldn't find it. I'm on day 14 of my first Whole 30 and am feeling pretty good - more energy and I feel an improvement in mood. The last few days, I've been feeling pretty hungry and then I get really HOT after eating. Today's eating so far: Meal 1 - hard boiled egg spaghetti squash with tomato sauce and a few little meatballs coffee with coconut milk Snack Lara bar Meal 2 more spaghetti squash - this time with chicken salad with homemade vinaigrette, blueberries and almonds on top Snack 2 avocado with orange bell pepper I feel like I'm eating a lot but I still feel a little hungry. Mostly, though, I'm concerned about feeling so warm!
Psirene
More food! And less sugar. Those Larabars are for emergencies, not normal snacking. Optimally you should be eating enough food to not need to snack. Beyond that, your snacks are lacking - they should have a little protein, veg and fat. Your avocado snack needs protein, and your larabar snack needs everything. What does your prior couple of days food include? Like when you started feeling hot? Also, approximate times of when you're eating? Do you get your breakfast in within an hour of waking? Is dinner a couple hours from bed?Other trouble-shooting - new spices in your food? Less fruit than you'd been doing before? Other changes?
Robin Strathdee
I don't know the cause, but it happens to me sometimes, too. Usually after a carbohydrate dense meal. It usually passes in a few minutes and I just chalk it up to digestion ?
