yoplait311
Hi All, I'm on day 11 and it's going great (except for one slip up thanks to some life stress). I'm enjoying my meals and feeling super satisfied, etc... I've started doing crossfit and I love the workouts. However, as a triathlete, I also love my cardio - especially running. However, I've found that over the past 2 days, running has felt like total crap! My legs feel like concrete and my mental endurance to "just keep running" is non-exisistant. Is this normal? Will it pass? I love running, but not when I feel like I'm struggling just to jog along. Any suggestions?
amberino21
Have you checked out the timeline? What you're experiencing is likely completely normal....and will hopefully improve soon! http://whole9life.com/2013/08/revised-timeline/ Are you fuelling your workouts/runs with decent pre and post WO meals? And eating well for all other meals?
GFChris
Being tired during workouts the first few weeks is normal. Are you eating enough and are you including a lot of high carb vegetables in your daily diet?
yoplait311
Thanks for your reply's.. Pre workout I'm eating either a hard boiled egg or some coconut butter and a small peice of chicken. However, some of my am runs have been fasted and I basically feel like a cinder block! My carbs have been a bit lower - just due to my veggie choices - but I do try to get in a sweet tater every day.
amberino21
I think postWO is more important for refuelling and recovery - make sure you're getting in a meal sized portion of protein and some starchy carbs!

Renee Lee
Yeah, so I think your quantity's okay, but you really need more sweet potatoes or starchy veggies. Why only 3oz in the morning? Eat the whole thing!
