senews
I realized on day 10 of my Whole 30 that what I thought was 100% olive oil cooking spray actually has soy lecithin in it. This is my second Whole 30, so I can't believe I didn't think to check the label! Anyway, do I need to start over, or should I just delay adding in legumes by 10 days? Or do I even need to since that's the last category of food that I'll reintroduce? Thanks!
GFChris
I haven't found a cooking spray yet that doesn't contain soy lecithin. Even Trader Joe's Coconut Oil spray has it!Yes, delaying soy/legume reintro 10 days post Whole30 would be the way to go here, so you're soy/legume-free for 30 consecutive days. And yes, if you follow the reintro schedule as printed in ISWF, you'd be all set, given where legume reintro falls.
Roz Griffiths
I wouldn't restart, especially as you've done a Whole30 before. Did you have an adverse reaction to legumes last time you reintro'd? If not, I'd say your suggestion to leave legumes til last is probably the best decision. Or if you wanted to be absolutely 100% copper-bottomed sure, reintro soy separately after the other legumes
