grateful
I'm on day 21 of my whole30. All is going well, but yesterday I ordered a chicken breast and salad from the cafeteria. I noticed it had a greenish coating on it. I'm 99% certain it was a pesto baste of some sort. Not alot, and I did try to dab it off. But, I did still eat it pretty much knowing it was non-compliant. I was late for work, starving, stressed, etc. so I was not as vigilant as I have been. Otherwise, this whole30 has been compliant. Do I need to start over? What do you all think? Moderators Tom Denham Posted September 20, 2013 Moderators Share Posted September 20, 2013 So you think there may have been cheese in the pesto? Milk proteins in cheese CAN cause serious issues, but I hate to recommend a restart after 21 days in an ambiguous situation. If your Whole30 is going well, I would tend to keep going and maybe delay reintroducing milk/dairy when you reach 30 days.
grateful
Yes, I do suspect there was cheese in the pesto. It is going well so I think I'll keep going. It would serve me well to delay dairy anyway because it hurts my stomach and adds a couple inches to my waist almost instantly. Thank you for the input.
