Is there anyone out there from the San Diego or SoCal area?  I want to buy organic pork and lamb but have no idea who would have that.  I have a Trader Joes, Whole Foods, and Sprouts available to me and I'm sure some other places that carry organic products.  I just thought I should ask before I go bouncing from store to store getting more and more frustrated.  Hope to hear from some of you!  Thanks!!

Those are all good options. I often bounce around to get the best deal. For example: Trader Joes has the best deal for frozen grass fed ground beef and steaks. However, I subscribe to Whole Foods and New Seasons (local store in Oregon) newsletters to stay on top of locally sourced foods. Whole Foods always has a deep discount on meat dept stuff on Fridays.

Also, Full Of Life Farm here in Oregon delivers to San Diego. I have spent time at the farm. They are awesome.

I'm in LA and I get my meats from Whole Foods (note their rating system of Steps), Sprouts (they have options in the frozen food section such as Bison, etc. as well as in the regular meat section), and Trader Joe's.  Whole Foods does have some great deals sometimes.  When they do, I'd stock up and freeze meat when you can.  I recently got a package of Step 4 Bottom Round Steaks, 6 in the package, about 2.5 pounds, for around $13.  Whole Foods also has Vital Farms Pastured eggs, which are delicious.  Unfortunately, I haven't found pastured pork and that makes me a little sad.  If you can make it to a farmers' market where they have stuff from local ranchers, that's probably higher quality and cheaper.  But I'd ask.  I got some bison and ground lamb at a farmers' market recently and it was a fortune!  Yikes!

Well I got beef, pork, and chicken today between TJs and Sprouts.  Didn't make it to Whole Foods since I needed to get home and eat.  I was thinking about too about looking online, that's what my cousin suggested to me since she's done her Whole 30 already.  I'll just have to keep looking!
