headdress
My husband is on the Whole30 with me. We are on day 14. He just had a 3 hour cycle and on our way to lunch he decided to have a black Americano. He. Says it is not because he is hungry. I think it I'd similar to having a coffee first thing in the morning before any breakfast.
amberino21
Do you mean in terms of how it would effect him after the ride? Or because he's having it not at a meal time?
James Murphy
Does this mean instead of having a meal? If so, highly recommend against this. "He. Says it is not because he is hungry." -- I'm not sure exactly what this means, but that's what has come to mind. If you're asking if it's okay to have a coffee with lunch, I don't think it's overly problematic, especially 6-8 hours before bed.
lliving51
The reason for not having coffee first thing is directed at those who would then not eat. It is an appetite suppressant. If he had the coffee and still ate a "normal" meal it should be ok. Per the book
