redjasmin
Has anyone frozen cauliflower rice successfully? And if so what stage to you freeze it, raw semi cooked or cooked? I have two enormous cauliflowers in my fridge that I'm never going to eat before they turn black and belong in the compost bin!
Delaine Ross
It can get a little mushy when defrosted, but I didn't mind. I guess you could always turn it into cauliflower mash if that happens!
Moderators ultrarunnergirl Posted October 8, 2013 Moderators Share Posted October 8, 2013 Cut up the florets, toss them with melted compliant fat, sprinkle with some cumin, a smidge of cinnamon and salt, roast at 400 for 10-15 minutes... yum! SweetieBsMom
I just froze stuffed peppers with cauliflower yesterday. I also had extra filling, so I stored the "meat mix" (ground beef and cauli-rice) in another container and froze it. That way I can pull it out for a quick meal.
