bert58
I have been reading the lables on some of these products and there seems to be a small amount of sugar.I am only 8 days into the start of this program and I like the concept of changing my body to fat burning instead of sugar burning. I have eliminated the other called for foods,so is this relivant or am I making more of this than I should.Tomato sauce was certified organic. So is this following the plan or not. GFChris
You're reading labels and that's the right thing to be doing. Sorry, no sugar or sweetener of any amount is allowed on a Whole30. Doesn't matter whether the product is organic or not.
ArcheoGator
If in doubt, learn to make your own. I can say this because I have the luxury of time to spend in the kitchen that I know many do not have. Other than that, you may have to just continue reading labels. Due to my Whole30, I find myself reading labels on everything that is not in the fresh produce section.

Is the sugar in the ingredients list or nutritional facts? Tomatoes have natural sugars..those are fine. It's added sugars in the ingredients list that have to be avoided.
