MissAmyB80
Has anyone else ever tried the Scotch Eggs recipe from Well Fed? I was a skeptic. Until I tried them last night. I didn't any ground pork so I used beef. O M G Yummmm!!! What's your favorite recipe from Well Fed?
GFChris
Moroccan Meatballs. Besides making the meatballs, we sometimes skip the sauce and use the meatball mixture to make tasty lamb burgers: yum!
Roz Griffiths
Sunshine sauce makes everything lovely Today i had cashew nuts, shredded sweet potato, kale, a tin of squid & a tin of mussels in a tomatoey oil (drained) & sunshine sauce. It was way nicer than the sum of its parts
Roz Griffiths
And i second Moroccan meatballs! And cauliflower rice pilaf (especially the curry variation)... And toasted coconut chips... Luci
Hi- I am seeing so many great comments about how wonderful the Sunshine Sauce is. My question is, has anyone substituted almond butter for the sunflower seed butter in the recipe? I live in a small town and can't find compliant sunflower seed butter. I can always purchase it in a larger town but for convenience I thought I would ask about the substitution that they offered on the recipe in Whole 30 book. Thanks in advance! Administrators ladyshanny Posted May 7, 2015 Administrators Share Posted May 7, 2015 I sub almond for sunbutter every single time I make it. I also leave out the coconut aminos because I find them to be priced too high for me to justify. We still absolutely LOVE Sunshine sauce. I usually add extra lime and extra ginger also because those are two of my favourite flavours.
