October one-day one

Today was boring and not terribly successful. Although I didn't eat any "non-compliant" foods, I also didn't really listen to my body around dinner time.

Breakfast: 3 eggs with a ton of spinach sauteed in coconut oil.

Lunch: Scrambled eggs with sauteed cauliflower and peppers (ghee)

"Dinner"- guacamole, lots of nuts, some veggies (no protein)

Dunno what I was thinking today.... am feeling more prepared for tomorrow.

Meg, I'm right there with you. This is my first W30 though I've been 80/20 paleo for about a year. Many times I don't feel like prepping a meal after a long day at work so I'll just grab a handful of this, a few spoonfuls of that, and call it a day. I think we need to give ourselves permission to be "compliant" in a way that works for us in the moment and not feel disappointed in ourselves. I'm betting there will be several meals when all I feel like is a handful of nuts, some baby carrots and a chunk of leftover chicken breast! (I just call it an unconstructed chicken salad.) Anyway, best of luck -- you'll do just fine and so will I. :-)

Today is going to be interesting. I am doing a fasting assessment for a research study which means I'll only be able to eat lunch and dinner.

Lunch: A couple grass-fed beef sticks, huge salad and almond butter

Dinner: Green Curry with beef, zucchini, bell peppers, onions, and green beans!

This day seems like it'll be lame--but it's day 3 and so far so good!
