Jameel83
Hi! I'm on my 3rd day of whole 30. I decided to do this because I've been having a lot of stomach issues that seemed to be getting worst. I just want to find the perfect balance and get rid of the famous sugar addiction. Is that ok to have a serving of fruit after dinner once in a while? FYI am a fitness instructor, runner and triathlete, so I exercise at least two hours a day. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!!
sheba-kitty
The mods will chime in, but the common suggestion is to break dessert behaviors of eating sweets after a meal. Which will help the break the sugar dragon. Instead mix it in the main dish. And eliminate or reduce if you are still suffering with sugar cravings. GFChris
Eating fruit with or immediately after a meal is fine on your Whole30. Keep it to 1-2 servings a day, where a serving is the size of your fist.
Moderators Tom Denham Posted October 12, 2013 Moderators Share Posted October 12, 2013 You seem to be asking if you can have dessert after dinner if it is fruit and the answer is no. We want you to break the dessert habit completely. Eating fruit after a meal maintains the dessert tradition. You can eat fruit, but it needs to be incorporated into your meals.
