I made 15 gallons of spaghetti sauce this summer and there is only 1 ingredient I'm not sure is Whole30

 

Not-Beef Bouillon Cubes

It does have evaporated Cane Juice but is carb/sugar free

 

Alo Curious about the Not-Chicken...

 

before I get bombarded about making my own broth... I do. I have a ton in the freezer that I drink and use everyday.  I have used these to enhance flavor in the past..

Not only does the cane juice ingredient make it unacceptable during a Whole30, the fact that it is a highly processed fake-food makes it totally unacceptable during a Whole30. We want you eating real food, not fake food. This stuff highlights its fakeness by the name Not Beef... something that tastes like beef broth, but has no beef in it. This is not food. It is a franken food-product that can't do anything good for your health.

Thank you! I get it and I knew it, but like I said I made 15 gallon of sauce with my heirloom tomatoes and a ton of organic veggies before I knew about Whole30 :(  I bought the crap at W**** Foods so I thought it was "good".  I have learned a lot since last spring!!

 

I'll have to adjust my spaghetti Recipe!

I checked the ingredients and it also has maltodextrin in it.  That's also something to stay away from in a Whole30 (sugar- for future label reading)

 

Your recipe sounds delicious, by the way.. especially those heirloom tomatoes.
