Hello all!

My name is Bea and I'm doing my second Whole30 tomorrow! My first one ended prematurely at the hands of Oreo cookies and cream ice cream. I am much more prepared this time! 

I am 24 and obese - though I am not focusing on weight loss throughout this W30. I feel that last time that's ALL I thought about and I didn't feel like I was losing enough to continue. This time I want to to be clear (to myself) that weight loss is NOT the primary factor in doing this. I am doing this to evaluate my relationship with food, kick my sugar addiction and point myself towards a healthier life path. 

My main problems are probably going to be my craving for sweets and learning how to not binge or mindlessly snack. Two things I will be happy to never face again. 

For whatever reason, I didn't realize there was a forum last time I tried this so it's great to have this community to turn to. I'm going to start a daily log in that section of the forum if you care to follow. I welcome any support and advice that comes my way,

Hi Bea,

This is my 2nd time around and I too want to focus on food for fuel *only* and not mindlessly snack or think about the next time I get to eat! I'm 38 with 4 kiddos and its tricky with food because they eat all.day.long. And they are active and thin and fit, so I generally don't say no to snacks. When they snack, I snack. Not so good with a slowing metabolism!

We can beat this together!

Hi Bea, welcome! I was going to suggest the daily emails too but see my real -life friend Ruthie got their first (she's a friend so I'll forgive her!!).

hi there, i was supposed to start this a week ago but the sugar dragon creeped in and i didnt manage. i want to start again tomorrow with you...ive three kids who keep me on the go and who also eat all day long and eat different foods....so i need to get fit to keep up with them! any tips on how not to fall off the wagon. my week point is what to eat in order not to get bored of eating the same thing. but definitely the best diet or food plan EVER!
