Greek to me
So I believe that the best way to make it through Whole 30 and adopt it into lifestyle is to create options in cooking. I've read a few posts here and there and wonder where all you great people are getting ideas from. For example someone mentioned using date paste in lieu of honey. And where is this coconut cream recipe? Or great dressing alternatives. If you know resources and can share, I'd love it!
melbournegirl
The date and honey and coconut creamer options are paleo post whole30 alternatives. There is a resources thread on this forum that links to great recipe sites
GFChris
What Juzbo said. It's outside the spirit of the Whole30 to find substitutes for sweet treats/flavorings.On the dressings question, check out Melissa Joulwan's website (author of Well Fed and Well Fed 2). Her paleo mayo is a great basis for several dressings. She has links at the bottom of the recipe for other uses. http://www.theclothesmakethegirl.com/2010/06/03/the-secret-to-homemade-mayo-patience/
