juju
Picked up my farm share and there was a kohlrabi in it...after I figured out what it was I realized I have no idea what to do with it. So, I am looking for some ideas, how do you prepare your kohlrabi?

befabdaily
I grew up eating them raw, sliced thin. A friend of mine used to saute them in butter with lovage.

iloveartichokes
I have some in my fridge right now from the farmers market as well It is pretty tasty. Kohlrabi is in the broccoli/cauliflower/cabbage family (Brassicaceae), so it has that flavor, but the texture is like a carrot. I usually peel, slice or dice and saute or steam until soft. You could also add it to soups/stews.
