cass
I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this, but I want to make sure I'm doing this right. If I run in the morning and lift in the evening, do I eat pre- and post meals for both workouts? I'm assuming yes; it just seems like a lot of food. vkanders
Depending on how intense or long your workouts are, you may not need the pre-workout meal. I generally manipulate timing of my 3 base meals so that I don't need the extra going into the evening workout. For example, if I have a 7 pm workout planned, I'll eat dinner around 4:30-5 pm, and then just the normal post-workout meal when I get home. amberino21
Is there a reason you're working out twice a day? Could you do alternate days?
cass
I run every day because I love it. I lift 2-3 times a week so I can run high mileage and not get injured. It's much easier time-wise to split workouts on lifting days.
