roxnlox Posted November 11, 2013 Share Posted November 11, 2013 I am on day 4 and for about 48 hours have had unusually high blood sugars. I am a type 2 diabetic with A1c of 6.1 and my sugars usually run 90 - 140. The last few days I am 190 - 250 and feeling like crap! I have no appetite when my glucose is this high. Fortunately I am doing the whole30 with my daughter so she keeps cooking for me so I can eat a little. The first few days I was very low carb, but have tried adding back some small amounts of sweet potatoes and fruit. I feel a little better now but the high blood sugars are scaring me. I have been off gluten grains and legumes for several years so really just giving up dairy and some 75-85% chocolate. Any thoughts?
