MamaDrew
Hi, I've done one Whole30 before and it was wonderful. It's been 8 months ago and now I am 25 weeks pregnant. I have not been eating great while being pregnant and feel like I'm gaining too much weight (even though my doctor says I'm fine). I'm just terrified of gaining a ton of unnecessary weight and then struggling to get it off! So I'm thinking of starting a Whole30 and I just need a little reassurance. I remember going through the first week or so before with headaches and being super irritable. I'm just wondering if that kind of detox period is safe for the baby? Would it be better for me to just go Paleo instead of being quite as strict as the Whole30 requires? Any thoughts would be appreciated!
MrsStick
If you're worried about baby, do a reverse reintro. Remove one food group, wait a few days until your body's good with it, then remove another. That way it isn't a shock and it gives you a little time to get used to it.
