Savory paleo granola

If you use is as a flavoring condiment (last suggestion at the end of the recipe if you sent it all through a food processor), you're fine.

If you have it as your fat in a Whole30 template meal (e.g., maybe sprinkled on top of a salad), or as your fat in a mini-meal snack of a protein and fat, with the serving size being a closed handful (same as nuts), you're fine.

 

This would get into SWYPO/no brakes food territory if you mindlessly ate only this in one sitting.

This would have been SWYPO for me, because one of the things I missed most at first was my homemade granola, so it would have been trying to replace an unhealthy choice with a paleoified version of it. Just a perspective from a former granola lover!
