Applegate Bacon

I came across Applegate Bacon that was nitrate-free and no msg's  all compliant except it had sugar listed in the less than 2% ingredents.  Would that still be considered ok?  Or should I leave it for after my whole 30?

Great!  I think that type of bacon would be the healthiest choice.  I was going to use it to make the sweet potato soup in Well Fed 2 book, sounds yummy(like all her other soups), but in the meantime I will sub. coconut oil instead, but I know the bacon will give it that extra punch that my taste buds love!

For a similar taste, prosciutto may work - it's easier to find compliant versions :)
