ErinL Posted January 2, 2014 Share Posted January 2, 2014 I am looking to make mayo in the next few days, but I was wondering if anyone has made it with avocado oil rather than olive oil? I have EVOO and I just bought a bottle of avocado oil at Costco. My 4 year old tasted it and told me that she loved it! I would rather not have to buy another bottle of oil if I can use what I have. Vian Posted January 5, 2014 Share Posted January 5, 2014 I just made some avocado oil mayo today with white vinegar. I think I prefer the white vinegar to lemon juice. I've found lemon juice to sometimes give the mayo a bit of a bitter flavor. The Chosen Foods Avocado oil is great for mayo though. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
