nicycle
Remember, there are no dumb questions... :/ It's an herbal tea, but pre packaged, only questionable ingredient is "natural tropical flavors." Failing that, I have loose tea I could brew, assuming iced tea is allowed.
JennP
Oh, I hope so. I need to know the same thing. Hubby and I are planning on cold brewing loose tea to drink in place of sf drink mixes. I am also planning on making veggie waters--like cucumber or lemon water.
SpinSpin
Yes, Iced tea is allowable--just be sure the tea you brew it from is made from compliant ingredients and doesn't include any yuckies like soy lecithin or stevia. Veggie waters are good to go too!
Clairenz
What about soda water/sparking water? is carbonation ok?
justmary
Sparking mineral water is ok, as long as there are no weird ingredients or sweeteners! I normally use plain water in my SodaStream and then put a slice of lime in it, but today I found 2-liters of Talking Rain on sale. I love the carbonation. TrayS
Iced tea, hot tea, sparkling water, and coffee (not necessarily in this order) - this sums up my Whole30 beverage selection! The unflavored or lime or lemon-flavored sparkling water (with just "natural lemon flavor", etc. - no sweetener) is good stuff. So is iced tea but you have to be careful and read labels because they often contain soy lethicin. You should assume that iced tea in restarants contains soy lethicin, unless you know for a fact it does not.
SpinSpin
I use club soda when I need some bubbles, and I quite often cut kombucha with it--think of 3 oz of Kombucha in a beer glass, topped off with club soda--yum! I also do club soda with a twist of lime or lemon when out or at a party. Looks like a vodka and tonic and no one knows the difference.
