micro_mish
I started my 2nd Whole30 on January 1. What I thought was day 3 ickiness/carb flu has turned out to be an actual stomach virus of some kind...how do I cope with this? I haven't broken yet and have forced compliant meals down, but other than drinking ginger kombucha every other kind of food seems absolutely repulsive. Does anyone have any "feel better" food? All my usual suspects are totally non-compliant.
TrayS
Ick, sorry you are sick, stomach viruses are not fun. When I started my New Year's W30 last year I had one. I ate a lot of (unsweetened) applesauce those first couple days. Other things I recall eating were plain scrambled eggs and bananas lightly fried in coconut oil. If I could go back in time I would've gotten ahold of some bone broth, I only started making it last week and have been wondering why I never did before. Hard to do yourself if you're sick, but if you can get a spouse/family member/friend to make some for you, it's the best thing ever. Hope you feel better soon! micro_mish
Thanks! I completely forgot about applesauce, that actually doesn't sound horrible. I'll see if I can sweet talk the husband into making some bone broth, too.
