rileylium
I'm an experienced swimmer, I swim two hours a day six days a week, lift for an hour two days of the week, and do dryland (core, strengthening) for an hour three days a week. I used to drink a protein shake after each workout to prevent muscle soreness. With such an intense workout schedule, I've found it really hard to maintain my energy levels and stay happy. I find myself tired, cranky, and fatigued/sore most of the time. Does it get better? Are there any foods I can eat that are similar to my old carb-intense diet that gave me fuel? Thanks! Moderators Tom Denham Posted January 12, 2014 Moderators Share Posted January 12, 2014 You really can excel training like this and eating real food. Don't take my word for it; read the training/food log of our old friend FenderBender. It runs multiple pages as he provided a lot of detail over time. http://forum.whole9life.com/topic/8674-fenderbenders-log-w42-while-doing-primal-elite-soldier-training/
