cutewosie
I found a grain free sweet potato biscuit recipe and am wondering if it would be ok for my Whole 30. All of the ingredients are compliant BUT they contain about 2 cups of almond meal. I know cakes and pancakes and other junk food even if compliant is not ok, but am wondering about biscuits. I am looking for a little more variety with my sweet potatoes. I am on Day 15 and haven't been struggling with cravings other than milk.
GFChris
To me, biscuits are a cousin to bread, which would make these a no for a Whole30: sorry. There are so many other compliant ways to eat sweet potatoes: baked, mashed, roasted, in a hash, in quiche, even in meatloaf - use those methods instead. Moderators Tom Denham Posted January 16, 2014 Moderators Share Posted January 16, 2014 The short answer - No. We want you to eat really different from your old way of eating, not just adjust a few ingredients.
