lasmith6
My period is one week early. Really unusual, I've always been clockwork down to the day. Late a few times due to birth control. Doesn't seem to have a ton of symptoms (unusual, I'm normally really ill). Fearing pregnancy, though I know its unlikely (implantation). Anyone else experience this? Link to comment
Jessica Lynn
For the last 4 months I have been getting my period 1 week early. That is also very unusual for me too as mine is also clockwork. My doctor tried a different BC, but I got it early again. I have been wondering if it has something to do with eating Paleo. Today is my first day doing Whole30 so we shall see how it goes. maziebird
I've been wondering if eating Paleo can change period schedule as well. I did a Whole30 in August and my cycle was all screwed up. Ended Whole30, went back to eating poorly, am doing another Whole30 this month and my cycle is way messed up again. I can only attribute this to a big change in eating as it seems to happen when I start eating clean my cycle goes crazy. Link to comment
Kelly79
I was just talking to my friend about this. She is just doing Paleo and not the challenge, but I was really surprised mine came so early. I thought the "pms acne" I got last week was just part of the detox and not so much the hormones. But then I started a whole week early and I'm on birth control. Never have I started this early. Believe me eating healthy definitely has more positive side effects. I guess if this is the only negative I'm okay. Glad to know I'm not alone. Link to comment
Karen
Totally normal the first month or two! Check this one out: http://forum.whole9l...=+period +early Essentially, you bleed due to a drop in hormones. When you change your diet, some of your hormone levels can drop as part of the balancing act, making your body think it's time to bleed. Once things level out, you typically should be back to normal. lasmith6
I am totally not ok with this side effect. My weight loss stopped, I'm extremely bloated, hands swollen, and bleeding extremely heavily (almost as bad as the first couple days post partum). I feel sick constantly since it started. No symptoms before- literally a surprise. Link to comment
