Well my 1st attempt at w30 was a bust due to catching swine flu 6 days into it! Took my last dose of medicine last night and now I am back to conquer this program!! I woke up not hungry but I made myself eat. I haven't been eating a lot due to being sick so this will be a challenge making myself eat 3 meals....

Breakfast was eggs, green,yellow, red peppers, Jalepeno, onion in coconut oil and sweet potato skillet that was also in coconut oil. Have a great day everyone!! xoxox

Day 2...I slept ok last night. I was tossing and turning a lot. I had no problem getting out of bed for work to get a call that I have to work from home because the weather/roads are bad. So I am home again, lol! I wasn't real hungry for breakfast but made myself eat an egg scrambler and drink coffee with coconut milk.

I have found the support to be my biggest ally in this W30. It really does help to know someone even just stopped by to say 'Hi! Good job!"

 

Make sure you are getting enough fat in. That could be the culprit behind being so hungry by dinner. Unless of course you know you didn't eat enough during the day! :D You are a rockstar my dear! Keep up the good work!

Yeah Julie it does help a lot!! Love this forum!! And I haven't been eating enough, I know but just not back to normal yet..still feeling sick! But I am making myself eat and thanks for watching out for me girlie :) hope you get some sleep tonight!!

Day 3....didn't sleep well last night. Woke up at 2 am very anxious and couldn't shut off my mind. I don't like not sleeping well and from what I am reading 90% of you are going through this...I don't know if I can complete 30 days of not sleeping well!! For breakfast I made eggs with coconut oil and broccoli and cauliflower. I also enjoyed my coffee with coconut milk. I am very shaky and anxious for some reason... Not liking this feeling at all.

Lunch hamburger in ghee, sweet potato fries in olive oil an a banana! Very good and satisfying.

Dinner hamburger in coconut oil, garlic, and salsa and a sweet potato! I was craving tacos so I made that and it definitely hit the spot! Ready for bed...so tired! Please sleep tonight!

Good sleep is bound to happen.  I have some middle of the night wake ups, but overall, the chunks of sleep get better and better.  Hope yours goes smoothly tonight.  Your meals sound tasty - kinda makes me feel like I should put some effort into tonight's dinner! :)

I'm glad you are not shaky! I am going to try to add some sweet potatoes to my breakfast this morning, so that I get my 1 cup of carb dense veggies, that was suggested by GFChris last night. I'm sorry you didn't get the sleep you were hoping for, but I remain hopeful we will get there!! Rock your day girl! B)

Lunch I had a chicken breast with diced tomatoes and green chiles, green beans, canned green olives, and grapes...was ok! Had the same for dinner, minus the grapes and add green tea...making shepherds pie Julie for tomorrow!!! :) hope I get some sleep, I'm gonna drink sleepy time tea before because that seemed to have helped me at 4 am

Day 5...it's so cold out! Did not sleep like I wanted, but slept better, yay! And I read that I actually don't have to start over because I was sick and had prescribed meds so I am actually on Day 14...I have to add 9 days to the end of my first whole 30, so I will go until Feb. 13! This made my day!! But for breakfast I had eggs in ghee with salsa and sweet potato with my coffee and coconut milk
