Dirt Girl
I tried to start my Whole30 while working on my thesis and failed miserably! Now that I am finished and feeling worse than I ever have in my life (read - crazy eating habits...or not eating at all and barely sleeping), I am super excited about getting started and feeling better! I'm shooting for an August 1st start date and will be easing into it between now and Aug 1st.
Colleen Roy
Good luck! I know exactly how you are feeling. I finished my graduate degree in May of 2010, while teaching full time. Thank god I had a student teacher that semester...but I still put in crazy long hours, ate like crap and slept even worse. The day I finished, literally, the day I picked it up from the printer, I got really sick. Knocked me on my butt for a week-and then I had surgery (for something else). My body was so exhausted from all the work-it took longer to heal because of all the junk I'd been eating! So, take some well deserved rest and ease into your whole30. You are going to feel so much better now that you can focus your attention on YOU and what you need!
