My top 10: Grass-fed, organic, raised on sunlight and angel song, blah blah blah, etc....basically local, non-industrial beef and poultry Pastured local eggs Unrefined coconut oil Coconut milk Avocados (though they're really expensive here) Meat bones (for bone broth) Carrots Tomatoes and tomato paste Kale/spinach/green leaves in general (minus lettuce) Sweet potatoes One post-Whole 30 staple: Uncured local bacon. I've resorted to these foods because I can throw them into some reheated broth for a quick soup or eat them raw in a salad. I can't believe how amazing I feel and how good all this natural simple foods taste when our taste buds arent berated with all the over processed flavors. Here is my list: Chicken Beef spainach and kale avacados eggs broccoli coconut chips and almonds with cinnamon (my own little trail mix perfect for snacks) boneless pork loin chop (mmmm) watermelon salsa I know I cheated combining some but it is hard to stick to 10. Eat it just like that or use them as a chip substitute for salsa and guacamole. Avocados 4. coconut milk 5. coconut oil/olive oil/ghee 6. eggs 7. onions 8. sweet potatoes 9. Crystal hot sauce 10. South African Smoke seasoning from Trader Joe's (ingredients: paprika flakes, sea salt, garlic, basil) - it is great on everything from grilled veggies to in burgers to on omelets!
