sophhood85
I have the Nom Nom Paleo cookbook and absolutely love it, and I saw a blog entry recently on the Whole 9 blog about how the majority of the recipes in it were compliant. I get why the ones in the treat section would not be, but I'm wondering about the recipe for plantain fritters. The only two ingredients are plantains and tapioca flour but I didn't know if that qualified as SWYPO. Figured that they probably aren't compliant but it never hurts to ask. Physibeth
I do believe this a recipe you should save for after your whole30.
CAK911
I basically exclude anything with any kind of flour in it from my Whole30, personally. I occasionally use a teeny amount of tapioca starch as a thickener, but that's about it.
krr1112
There is a Whole 30 approved list of receipes from Nom Nom Paleo. If I remember correctly the fritters were on the list which suprised me. And in Well Fed 2 there are fried plaintains that are approved too. But I think the key is moderation and not to use those to get your sweet fix.
