WendyE Posted January 31, 2014 Share Posted January 31, 2014 I have embraced Whole30 completely for the past 24 days and have felt great. For the first time in my life I am a cook and love it! Life changing. Here's my story. This morning I mixed 1/2 cup or so of some leftover taco meat with my scrambled eggs (yum), but had no sooner finished when I realized I had thrown in my son's leftover taco meat by mistake, which was made with pre-mixed taco seasoning mix, which has whey, sugar and potato starch in the ingredients. I will absolutely start over if those are significant enough amounts to skew next weeks reintroductions on days 31, 34, 37 and 40. Thanks for the wisdom floating around out there! Moderators Tom Denham Posted January 31, 2014 Moderators Share Posted January 31, 2014 The whey is a problem if you are sensitive to dairy, but rather than starting over, just delay reintroducing dairy to the end of your testing.
