MerBear
Found out that my favorite restaurant that I gave visited a couple of times while I was on W30 uses SOYBEAN OIL in their salad dressings and cooking their shrimp, eggs, etc. I don't know why I thought otherwise because I have indeed asked before and seemed to think they were compliant. Frustrated and disappointed in myself. Yesterday was day 30 for me, needless to say I'm starting another W30 very soon. Hope everyone finishing off their January 1 W30 is doing well!! AfromOttawa
Obviously that is not ideal, but if your Whole30 was largely surrounded around beating sugar cravings, then I don't think it's as much of a problem - no one is addicted to soybean oil. Did you feel any adverse affects from it?
MerBear
I did. Last night I felt inflamed in my abdomen and my hands and wanted to eat sweets when I came home from dinner (but didn't). I have eaten there multiple times in the past few weeks, now I'm wondering if this could be part of why I didn't lose any weight.
AfromOttawa
That is a bummer. At least you're still really motivated - you seem to have a good attitude!
MerBear
Haha --- trying really hard to be positive!! Like I said, pretty bummed but I didn't die and I didn't get injured, right?
