DAY 15

 

I am at the half way mark!

 

Not as good today. Hormones playing havoc again. Bit bloated and extremely sore breasts. :(

 

Breakfast

 

Omelette with left over rump steak and tomato topped with avocado on a bed of baby spinach.

Black coffee

 

Lunch

 

Kale beetroot carrot and cucumber salad with walnuts, boiled eggs with freshly squeezed lemon

4 strawberries

 

Dinner

 

Grilled chicken breast with steamed veges and coconut aminos

 

Drank plenty of water throughout the day and green tea and chamomile tea between meals

 

Today was the first time I felt like eating some comfort food. I am guessing my PMS was the cause.

Hi Ange....hormones suck...hope its only for a day...love the look of your menu plan...i usually just about eat the same for meals 1 and 2

coconut amines is amazing hey...im just about out will have to buy some more when next in town...am thinking a roast lamb tonight...tapioca gravy is kind of weird though.....tastes alright just an odd texture....

DAY 16

 

Had a great nights sleep and woke up ready to go!

 

Breakfast

 

Omelette with capsicum and tomato topped with avocado on a bed of baby spinach.

Black coffee

 

Lunch

 

Garden salad with grilled chicken avocado and a small handfull of grapes with freshly squeezed lemon

 

Dinner

 

Eggs bacon capsicum and baby spinach

 

Drank plenty of water throughout the day and green tea and chamomile tea between meals

DAY 17

 

Breakfast

 

Fried eggs tomato with avocado and baby spinach

black coffee

 

Lunch

 

Garden salad with boiled eggs avocado and macadamia nuts dressed with freshly squeezed lemon

 

Dinner

 

Grilled fish with steamed veges and freshly squeezed lemon

 

Drank plenty of water throughout the day and green tea and chamomile tea between meals

 

Today was a busy day. Lots of running around to do but I had plenty of energy to keep going with meals prepared in advance. :)

DAY 18

Garden salad with apple walnuts and turkey patties

 

Dinner

 

Garden salad with roasted pumpkin walnuts and beef bolognaise sauce

 

Drank plenty of water throughout the day and green tea and chamomile tea between meals

DAY 19

 

Started the day off with a morning walk after a great nights sleep. :)

 

Breakfast

 

Omelette with roasted veges

black coffee

 

Lunch

 

Kale beetroot and walnut salad with boiled eggs and freshly squeezed lemon

 

Dinner

 

Turkey patties with steamed veg and roasted pumpkin

 

Should have drank more water today. Was very humid and hot and I was outside in the weather for quite a while attending a funeral.

 

Feeling quite heat effected and sun burnt. B)

Hope you dont get heat or sun stroke...hot and humid here also funerals never make for a good day unfortunately....

Day 20

 

My energy levels were quite low today. Surprising because I had a good nights sleep.

 

Looking forward to a better day tomorrow.

Lunch

 

Garden salad with walnuts roasted pumpkin boiled egg and ham

 

Dinner

 

Steamed veges with chicken breast cooked in coconut oil with garlic and coconut aminos

 

Drank plenty of water throughout the day and green tea and chamomile tea between meals

Day 21

 

Woke up feeling much better today. :D

Omelette with ham tomato and basil with garden greens

Black coffee and lemon water with cayenne pepper and tumeric

Dinner

 

Fresh banana prawns with garden salad and avocado

 

Drank plenty of water throughout the day and green tea and chamomile tea between meals

Day 22

 

Had a great day today, full of energy and a great mood. Did my first Pilates class in such a long time and really enjoyed it. :D

 

Breakfast

 

Chicken and basil omelette with a kale beetroot carrot and walnut salad

Black coffee and lemon water with cayenne pepper and tumeric

 

Lunch

 

Chicken breast cooked in coconut oil garlic and coconut aminos with steamed veges

 

Dinner

 

Steak cooked in coconut oil with sesame garlic seasoning with steamed veges

 

Drank plenty of water and had green tea and chamomile tea throughout the day

Day 23

 

I have been really enjoying my days lately. Got some great produce from the local organic markets and spent the rest of the morning doing a shop tour of Wray Organics which was extremely interesting. :D

Garden salad with ham egg walnut and avocado with freshly squeezed lemon

6 days now but who's counting....lol.

 

This week I seem to be thinking a lot about what I will do after completing the Whole 30 and I keep coming to the same conclusion that I would like to continue with Paleo to see if I can get more significant change to my symptoms of hormone imbalance and weight loss.

 

Previously working crazy shift work for years with lack of sleep, very little exercise and eating whatever food I could get my hands on plus the onset of perimenopause has brought me to this point so I am guessing it will take some time living the Paleo way of life to get the results I am after.

 

I hope you are still going well with your caffeine free whole 30. Maybe that is something I should try next time round.

Day 24

 

Really enjoyed my day. Feeling so good. :)

Kale beetroot carrot walnut and avocado salad with ham and boiled egg. Freshly squeezed lemon as dressing.

 

Dinner

 

Veal fillet medallion with steamed veges

 

Drank plenty of water and had green tea and chamomile tea throughout the day

Started off with a walk followed by a yoga class after a great night's sleep.

 

Breakfast

 

Omelette with tomato avocado and salad greens with freshly squeezed lemon

Black coffee and Lemon water with cayenne pepper and tumeric

Grilled fish with garden salad and avocado

 

Dinner

 

Turkey patties with beetroot and walnut salad with coconut aminos lemon juice and olive oil as a dressing

 

Drank plenty of water and had green tea and lemon and ginger tea throughout the day
