Callen
I've heard lots of great things about this challenge from several people at the Fort Crossfit, my local crossfit gym. This past fall I took part in the lurong challenge, and it really did change how I look at nutrition in a major way. I'm incredibly excited to get started, especially because this time I'll be taking on a challenge with my amazing girlfriend who this will be a first for as well. I can't wait to see how this challenge turns out!!!
esuzabeth
Hey Callen. There are a bunch of us doing this during February. We'll be cheering each other on. That's totally cool that you and your girlfriend are doing it together. My husband sort of nods at me when I talk with him about eating better and then he goes back to his chips. LOL You go! Crystalmc13
Hi guys! This is my first whole 30 challenge. I just finished day one. But I started practicing lol a couple days before. I felt like I needed to start this challenge because I was actually getting pain after eating breads and cereals. My body needed a fresh start!! I'm looking forward to the support here! My hubby is doing the 30 with me. We have 3 boys, 7, 4, and 18 months. Good luck to you all!
Callen
That's awesome, are you having your boys eat healthy with you? I don't have children, but my younger brother and sister are, unfortunately, growing up learning the same bad eating habits I did. It seems like eating habits are something that really have to be taught from an early age.
Crystalmc13
Right now me and hubby are just getting the hang of it. We are slowly introducing a "paleo" like diet to them. As a family though we have cut out all fast food 100% so I feel good about that!! It's def a learning process but we are having fun with it
Rkrzywda
Right now me and hubby are just getting the hang of it. We are slowly introducing a "paleo" like diet to them. As a family though we have cut out all fast food 100% so I feel good about that!! It's def a learning process but we are having fun with it My kids are 6 and 9 and I'm trying to introduce it slowly to them as well. I am starting with dinner. They can have their standards for breakfast lunch and snacks and then eat what I am having for dinner. My kids complain almost every meal anyways if its not chicken nuggets or pasta, so its not a big deal. lol Hang in there and stay strong. and post any helpful tips any time you can! I'm going to need them!
Crystalmc13
Yes that's what we do too. They love snacks so I'm still making those for them and breakfast and lunch. But they have to try dinner Thank you so much you too!!! We got this!!!
