Day 1: Vomiting?

Hi everyone!

 

I just started my day 1 and felt pretty good until I ate lunch...then felt weird nausea/hunger all afternoon and finally just threw up about 4 hours after I had eaten my lunch.

 

Breakfast: 2 eggs w/ bell peppers, onion, chopped spinach and avocado

 

Lunch: Melissa Joulwan's chocolate chili recipe on a bed of romaine

 

I've never had food poisoning before and wouldn't suspect that anything I ate gave me food poisoning...is there any alternative explanation?  Feeling discouraged and just want a piece of toast and some gingerale right now :(

I'm in the same situation... Day 5, and I had lunchmeat for my protein last night (turkey with spices, whole30 compliant, and something I've eaten before).  It's the closest I've had to processed food since I started though so I'm wondering if my body just reacted badly?  Problem is I really wish I could have some crackers and ginger ale - any whole 30 suggestions to calm my stomach??  Skipping meal 1 this morning, which I know I shouldn't, but I don't think I could keep it down...
