Hi!  I have an egg intolerance - basically, when I eat them in the morning, I feel terrible for the rest of the day.  They give me sharp stomach cramps and I have to pop tums and gas pills just to not lie in bed all day.

I need suggestions as to what I should eat for meal #1.  I've always replaced eggs with greek yogurt or protein bars but, now those options are out.

Please help - I don't want pork chops for breakfast!!!!!!!

I typed this out and then closed it on myself.  :-(

Anyway, I eat just about any food from other meals at meal 1.  I have always loved breakfast food, but I am currently only eating eggs to stretch my other meals.

I found these by using google to search for Whole30 "breakfast ideas no eggs".  There are plenty more and some inspired people have posted on this topic in the past.

I also didn't use eggs for my W30 since I hadn't eaten them for a year due to an allergy test.  I just used the same meal template for my breakfast (Meal 1) as all the other meals using the same meats and veggies.  I did occasionally make a more "breakfast-y" meal by using fried sweet potato hash and compliant breakfast sausage.

I just plain don't like eggs, so I've been eating a lot of sweet potatoes (sometimes in a hash-like preparation or just mashed with ghee and salt and cinnamon) with some kind of protein on the side, usually some form of compliant chicken sausage and some veggies.

Life is too short to eat things that make you physically miserable, IMNSHO.
