Ariellemc
We got invited to a thai restaurant which I initially thought would be pretty easy to stay compliant at. Than realized I know next to nothing about Thai food. I would appreciate any insights or suggestions based on their menu.. Thanks!! http://www.allmenus.com/az/phoenix/33618-tum-nak-thai/menu/
GFChris
Thai is tricky to do Whole30. Potential for soy sauce, peanuts, sugar in sauces is large, possibility of gluten in curry pastes, nevermind cooking in a non-compliant oilYou might want to call ahead and see if they can steam a protein with some veggies for you. praxisproject
If they don't make their own pastes, it's likely everything will have sugar in it, some pastes also have nasty oils. While thai restaurants usually use lots of coconut products, if they're not W30 compliant, neither will the dish be. Red or Green curry would be a good starting point, served without rice and lots of greens, but you'll need to be sure every ingredient is compliant. Masaman or Massaman curry almost always contains peanuts, avoid.
