I know that whole30 feels you should get all your nutrients from food and not from supplements. I would check with the manufacturer about what "natural flavoring" is. Sometimes natural flavoring has soy, gluten, sugar, etc which would make in non compliant.

 

I would have a pre workout and post workout meal instead. Search the Whole30 forum for athletes.
