Babsie95
Im on day 9 and doing well so far. I made a good supper for myself tonight and I think I ate too much. The problem is even thought I am stuffed I want to munch on whatever I can find. Why would eating too much make me want to snack. This hasn't happened until now on the whole
ninadude
Hmmmm.... Are you eating enough protein and good fat in each of your 3 meals?
runninglawyer88
Yep, I actually wrote a post about overeating not long ago. I'm not sure why I would do it but I noticed the same thing. I gave in to the urges and now they seem to be gone (after maybe 1.5-2 weeks of eating beyond fullness).
Babsie95
Definitely enough fat and protien. Tonights meal was sweet potato hash browns and 2 fried eggs cooked in ghee plus an avocado. most days i have been much less hungry and less tempted to snack so this felt more like old habits so I thought I would make sure I'm not missing something or doing something wrong
GFChris
This snack sounds like a habit vs. eating out of hunger. How about, after you finish eating supper, give your body a signal that eating is over? Brush your teeth after you're pleasantly full/satiated. Robin Strathdee
I'd also suggest adding at least one more egg or another (secondary) protein source. Those two eggs may have been filling, but you don't get nearly as much protein from them as you would the same volume of a denser protein source. That can leave you full, but underfed. AllyB
Go outside and walk after you eat. (Or just leave the kitchen, do the dishes later.) That helps me with cravings and/or wanting to continue to eat. It only takes 15-20 mins and my body gets over it.
