LindaLee
I read somewhere that you shouldn't drink while you're eating your meal...but that doesn't make much sense to me. Seems I will feel more full if I drink water while I'm eating...but then I'm not the nutrition scientist! What's the scoop/advice on that? Thanks! Adagio
I do not drink water with my meals as I have learned not to dilute stomach acid. As we age, our stomach acid decreases. I have found that if I drink a lot of water with meals, I am more likely to have indigestion.
Renee Lee
Adagio nailed it with the reasoning, but if you feel more comfortable drinking while you eat, carry on. Just don't go too crazy, particularly if you have digestive issues.
