Keer
I'm trying to plan out some meals to make my trip to the grocery store. Breakfast is my downfall and where I tend to lean heavily on paleo versions of "typical" baked breakfast ideas (muffins, pancakes, etc.). I don't have a lot of time to cook things in the morning (even when I COULD eat eggs, scrambling and cooking eggs were pushing it time-wise). I'm TRYING to shift my brain over to the fact that breakfast is just another meal, but it's tough. I'm also not really fond of sweet potatoes. I can halfway tolerate them, but just thinking about eating them for breakfast is making my nose wrinkle up LOL!Suggestions????? Not being able to tolerate eggs really makes breakfast difficult. GFChris
Lots of ideas in these past threads:http://forum.whole9life.com/topic/12023-strongly-dislike-eggs-breakfast-ideas/http://forum.whole9life.com/topic/8697-help-other-breakfast-ideas-non-eggs/ http://forum.whole9life.com/topic/6774-non-egg-breakfast/ http://forum.whole9life.com/topic/1834-breakfast-ideas-without-eggs/I find it's easiest to search the forum via Google. Type Whole30 followed by whatever you're looking for. If it's been discussed here, you'll get links to the posts.

**Ann**
I just made this shepard's pie over the weekend, and found it was fantastic as a make-ahead breakfast. Honestly, I probably wouldn't make this for dinner again, but I sure enjoyed it as breakfast for a couple of days. It does have egg in the recipe as a binder, but its not an egg-centric breakfast. http://www.theclothesmakethegirl.com/2010/12/28/paleo-comfort-food-cottage-flower-pie/
wifebando
Just eat your normal leftovers! I love eating leftover pulled pork, cole slaw, and some sweet potatoes for breakfast. There is no reason we need to eat "special" foods just because it's the first meal of the day.
Keer
Wifebando, that's one of the things I'm having trouble with. I'm trying, but it's hard. I did that the other morning and was kind of grossed out, to be honest. But I'm working on it.
