Feel like throwing up mid-workout

I am on day 16. I have struggled with workouts from the beginning, though it has gotten easier.


But I still feel like I am going to throw up in the middle of the workout.


My pre workout meal today was half a handful of cashews and half a hardboiled egg. I ate it 45 min before the beginning of my workout.


Should I give more time? Eat it a full hour or more before?

Pre-workout meals are the most variable of them all. I can finish chewing on my way into a squat rack and do fine most days. Some people need more than an hour to digest. It is totally okay to experiment with timing and what you eat.


Nuts are often troubling to the gut, so anyone with a sensitive stomach does well to eliminate them from the pre-workout meal.
